Newport’s middle-class needs a break. I’ll work to enact a homestead exemption, giving Newport residents a break on their property taxes.

Stormwater is driving up water and sewer bills and literally flooding our neighborhoods. I’ll work to help the City pursue state and federal resources to keep Newporters above water.

Transportation
Newporters need more efficient and safer ways to get around the Island. I will work to improve traffic flow and bike and pedestrian safety, and will work with RIPTA to get more island-specific public transit.
